Last day in Malaysia

The last day of our trip in KL was simple. We woke up early to get our tickets to go to the Twin Towers. We waited for 2hs in the queue and then at 9am we went there and walked it. The sight up there is impressive and because the structure is very strong we aren't able to feel any wind. After that we went to KL Tower, but was too expansive to go up there, so we went to a shopping center to lunch and wait to meet my friend Fumi, who is studying English at the British School. Time to go to the hotel, take a shower and rest, because the next day will be really busy.

Once again, we woke up early (4h30am), this time to go the airport. When we arrived there, we found out that we had went to the wrong one and we needed take a taxi to go to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) - the wrong airport that we went has national and international areas, but is almost exclusive of Air Asia. That taxi was the most expansive taxi ever. And we couldn't bargain because it was a fixed price. Well, at least we didn't miss our flight.

Some tips if you have plans to go to Malaysia, specially Kuala Lumpur:

Bargain always. In 99% of the places you can get a discount.

After you booked your hotel (if you gonna book any) check with then the best way to go there. We lost some ringgits (Malaysian currency) because we didn't know that there was a train station close to our hotel.

Check which airport you gonna flight in and out. As I said before, there is one almost exclusive to Air Asia and another for other companies (main). We didn't know that and we could have missed our flight if we didn't have enough time to go to the right one.

Exchange some money before you go there so you don't need do that at the airport where the rates are always lower. This money will be important for you to pay transport to your hotel.

If you wanna try the local food and you don't like spices, ask for it before. And even after that, you gonna taste some spices while eating.

Ultimo dia na Malasia

O último dia da nossa viagem em KL foi simples. Levantamos cedo pra pegar nossos ingressos pra subir na ponte da Twin Towers. Nós esperamos por 2hs na fila e às 9hs nós subimos lá. A visão lá em cima é impressionante e nós não sentimos nenhum qualquer vento ou balanço por causa da estrutura da ponte ser muito forte. Depois disso nós tentamos ir pra KL Tower, mas porque era muito caro pra subir nós decidimos ir para um shopping center pra almoçar e esperar minha amiga Fumi chegar (ela está estudando inglês na British School. Hora de voltar pra casa, tomar um banho e descansar porque o próximo dia será bem cheio.

Mais uma vez nós acordamos cedo (4h30), agora pra ir pro aeroporto. Quando nós chegamos no aeroporto, nós descobrimos que a gente tinha ido para o aeroporto errado. Esse aeroporto tem vôos nacionais e internacionais, porém é quase exclusivo da Air Asia (isso nós não sabíamos). Bom, nós tivémos que pagar um táxi muito caro pra ir até o Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) e nós não pudemos barganhar porque o preço era fixo. Bom pelo menos nós não perdemos nosso vôo.

Algumas dicas se você tem planos de visitar a Malásia, especialmente Kuala Lampur:

Sempre barganhe. Em 99% dos lugares você pode conseguir um desconto.

Depois que você reservou seu hotel (se você for reservar algum) cheque o melhor jeito de chegar lá vindo do aeroporto. Nós perdemos alguns ringgits (moeda da Malásia) porque nós não sabíamos que perto do nosso hotel havia uma estação de trem.

Verifique qual aeroporto você chegará e em qual você vai partir. Como eu disse antes, tem um quase exclusivo da Air Asia e outro para a outras companhias (o principal). Nós não sabíamos disso e poderíamos ter perdido nosso vôo se não tivéssemos tempo suficiente pra ir pro aeroporto certo.

Troque algum dinheiro antes de você ir prá Malásia assim você não precisará fazer isso no aeroporto, onde o câmbio é sempre mais baixo. Esse dinheiro será importante prá você pagar um transporte até o seu hotel.

Se você tentar a comida local e você não gosta de pimenta, sempre peça sem. E mesmo depois disso, você ainda vai sentir a comida um pouco apimentada enquanto estiver comendo.
